Publicity Group served as a media engagement and event partner for the Swedish government-funded GEclose2EU program, supporting its mission to strengthen the domestic and international competitiveness of Georgian small and medium-sized enterprises. Our engagement combined large-scale entrepreneurship fairs with international media and study tours, positioning Georgian SMEs, institutions, and policymakers within broader European market and policy contexts. We designed and delivered two high-profile entrepreneurship fairs in Tbilisi, including a one-day outdoor fair at Fabrika Garden with 100 participating entrepreneurs and a two-day indoor fair at Tbilisi Mall that brought together 120 businesses across arts, crafts, food production, apparel, toys, and wine.

These events were fully managed by our team, from concept development and venue coordination to media relations and public visibility, ensuring strong attendance, professional execution, and wide exposure. In parallel, Publicity Group organized a seven-day international media tour to Stockholm for 10 Georgian journalists covering business and economic affairs, enabling in-depth reporting on EU market practices and SME development models.

We also coordinated a separate seven-day study tour to Stockholm for 15 participants, including media representatives, senior government officials, NGO leaders, and business figures, facilitating high-level exchanges and institutional learning. Through our integrated approach to international media engagement and complex event delivery, GEclose2EU achieved increased visibility, strengthened stakeholder credibility, and meaningful international exposure that reinforced its impact on SME growth and EU alignment.
