Social Impact is a broad sector encompassing organizations working to generate positive societal change. It includes nonprofits, independent and corporate foundations, charities, social enterprises, CSR initiatives, and community-based programs. In Georgia, social impact initiatives often address youth, education, workforce development, employability, economic growth, regional development, and civic engagement. The sector emphasizes purpose, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

Organizations must communicate both values and results to diverse stakeholders. Social impact work frequently bridges public, private, and international actors and in order to be successful, and sustain accomplishments, credibility and public understanding should be secured. The sector reflects a growing expectation that organizations separately, or collectively contribute meaningfully to society and, these days, we see more impact-oriented organizations increasingly engage with corporate and institutional partners. And while this partnerships happen, and different social initiatives implemented, clear communication should be in place to strengthen legitimacy and long-term support from the public.
