Financial Communications

Financial Communications is a sector centered on organizations operating in banking, finance, insurance, fintech, and investment. It involves institutions that manage capital, risk, and economic confidence. In emerging and transitioning markets like Georgia, financial communication plays a vital role in building trust and financial literacy. The sector requires clarity, responsibility, and consistency in public messaging.

Financial organizations communicate with regulators, customers, investors, and the broader public simultaneously, hence transparency and reputation are fundamental to long-term stability. The sector is closely linked to economic growth and systemic resilience and without a proper communication, these results will not be met and sustained. As financial products and technologies evolve very fast, effective strategic communication becomes increasingly important, supporting stability during both growth and crisis periods. In parallel, public perception can directly influence financial behavior and institutional credibility.

Microfinance Association & Microfinance Centre (Poland)

Publicity Group was commissioned to design and implement the PR strategy and communication plan for the “Micro-Entrepreneur 2015” initiative. The five-month campaign was delivered in close partnership with the Georgian Microfinance Association and the Microfinance Centre in Poland. Our work included nationwide outreach activities, entrepreneur-focused campaigns, contests, regional meetings, and media engagement in both the capital and regional cities. We developed a cohesive narrative highlighting entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and small business development. Media relations and public-facing events were structured to ensure consistent visibility and stakeholder engagement throughout the campaign period. The project was implemented within Poland’s Development Cooperation Program and financially supported by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As a result, the initiative achieved strong public awareness and reinforced the role of micro-entrepreneurship in economic development.

The assignment began with an extensive assessment process, including data collection, desk research, stakeholder analysis, and individual and group consultations. Based on these findings, we drafted a comprehensive strategy defining goals, target audiences, key messages, communication tactics, budgets, crisis planning, and evaluation methodologies.
